Accommodation

Our resident rooms are bright and airy, decorated in colours and fabrics selected from a soothing palette. Most important of all, our rooms are comfortable and inviting, offering beautiful views overlooking our landscaped gardens. Each bedroom is equipped with a nurse call system, access to telephone and multi-channel TV.

Clarinbridge Care Centre comprises homely bedrooms, generous ensuite bathrooms, a spacious dining room, elegant day rooms and an abundance of residential amenities.

The home is built around a central courtyard, with some bedrooms having private gardens.

We have a beautiful peace room where residents go to worship and reflect in private. Our residents’ spiritual care needs are an essential part of our holistic care services. Families can enjoy the serene walkway at the Grotto with their loved ones.

RESIDENTS’ POLYTUNNEL
Our polytunnel garden is a hive of activity for residents with green fingers. They plant and harvest vegetables and herbs which are used in the kitchen for resident meals. Their favourite flowers are also grown in abundance.

Our Care Services

Respite Care

Clarinbridge is the perfect place to retreat, recuperate and rehabilitate following an illness, injury or surgery.

We also provide respite care to allow carers take a break for a short or more extended period.

Residential Care

Long term care is designed for residents unable to live independently.

Our focus is to preserve independence for as long as possible through individualised social, recreational, occupational therapy and physiotherapy programmes – enhancing the quality of life of our valued residents.

Complex Care

Residents with complex care needs are provided with a personalised care plan, which promotes their wellbeing and meets their complex needs.

Nurses are trained in intellectual disability, gerontology and psychiatry and all staff are trained to provide specialised care to residents with complex physical, psychological or emotional needs.

Clarinbridge Care Centre is a community that supports residents with dementia or cognitive impairment.

Meadowview Rehabilitation Programme

We care for young people living with brain and spinal injuries following an accident, trauma, illness or stroke. We provide person centred holistic care to enhance their quality of life.

The senior physiotherapist and occupational therapist have a core role in the development and management of our rehabilitation programme, in partnership with the care team. We work closely with the National Rehabilitation Hospital and Disability Services as part of our rehabilitation programme.

Health & Wellbeing

We strive to promote an optimal quality of life through a progressive approach to residents’ social and spiritual care. The Director of Nursing and care staff drive opportunities for intimate and meaningful connections to be built around residents of Clarinbridge Care Centre within the community we serve.

Social Life

Our unique approach to planning social events starts by finding out what our residents like to do. We encourage and support our residents to continue any hobbies or interests they may have enjoyed before moving to our home.

We arrange individual and group outings into the community and further afield to suit all interests.

Meanwhile, back at Clarinbridge Care Centre, there is always something happening; from art, reminiscence, music and dancing to pet therapy, weekly mass, exercise classes and pampering. We also host summer barbecues and family fun days.

We host an Annual Boccia Tournament where the local community is invited and they compete with our resident team.

Testimonials

“I knew I couldn’t bring him home. Social care in the hospital told us about Clarinbridge. Now that he is here it is not a nursing home, it is a home. I never thought I would be in this situation and I never knew a place like this is here”

Family member

“It was the hardest decision ever to agree to a nursing home but I wouldn’t change it for the world. This is where his life is and he is part of a community”
