All our care centres offer a varied, engaging and entertaining weekly activities programme. Our robust activity calendars provide for meaningful daily activities that build on each resident’s unique hobbies, interests, abilities and strengths.
All social events are designed around resident’s interests and preferences, cognitive and sensory stimulation, reminiscence, physical activity, and so much more. There is truly something for every person and every interest in our care centres.
Life In Our Care Centres
We strive to make life in our care centres as stimulating and fulfilling as possible and are committed to ensuring independence, dignity and choice in every aspect of our residents’ daily lives.
From carers and nurses to activities co-ordinators we spend time getting to know every resident in order to learn what they liked to do before moving into our care centres and what is important to them.
Our residents of varying interests and abilities, take part in one-to-one or group activities, whatever their preference.
Meaningful activities include gardening or playing boccia outdoors, flower arranging, baking, arts and crafts, music and dancing, while others may find equal enjoyment in making a cup of tea and reminiscing about days gone by.
there is always something happening; from reminiscence, weekly mass, exercise classes to pampering. We also host summer barbecues and family fun days.
Activities are are also complemented by music therapy, pet therapy, excursions into the local community and further afield, when weather allows.
Good quality, nutritious, home-cooked food is served to our residents with careful consideration of their individual dietary needs.
Our catering teams source local produce and work closely with the clinical team to ensure residents receive the highest quality of appetising food. Residents are encouraged to continue their daily routine by taking advantage of the healthy food options available.
